Recently, a research team led by Professor Fang Xiangming from the Academy of Global Food Economics and Policy (AGFEP) at China Agricultural University published a research paper in "Nature Human Behaviour". Professor Fang Xiangming is the first author, and China Agricultural University is the primary affiliation. "Nature Human Behaviour" is ranked in JCR Q1 across multiple research categories. It ranks 2nd among 91 journals in the field of Experimental Psychology, 3rd among 74 journals in the multidisciplinary sciences category, and 4th among 275 journals in the field of Neuroscience.

This study was conducted by Professor Fang Xiangming, his master's and doctoral students, and researchers from 15 domestic and international institutions, including the University of Edinburgh, the University of Michigan, Peking University, the World Health Organization, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The research team systematically searched literature in all six official United Nations languages, covering 10 English databases, 23 non-English databases, and more than 20 grey literature sources. They comprehensively reviewed and systematically studied relevant research published between January 1, 2010, and August 1, 2024.

As a key outcome of the WHO global research project led by Professor Fang Xiangming's team, the data from this study, after validation by respective governments, is expected to become an important official data source for the World Health Organization and other UN agencies, providing critical evidence for global policy-making.

Additionally, Professor Fang Xiangming's team published a research paper titled "Prevalence estimates and nature of online child sexual exploitation and abuse: a systematic review and meta-analysis" in "The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health". Professor Fang Xiangming is the sole corresponding author. This study provides crucial scientific evidence to raise public awareness and support policy interventions.

"The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health" is a JCR Q1 journal across multiple research categories. Focusing on child and adolescent health issues, it covers clinical medicine, public health, policy research, and other areas, making it one of the most authoritative and influential journals globally in this field.

The series of research findings from Professor Fang Xiangming's team at AGFEP has significantly strengthened the global evidence base on related issues and provided robust support for developing more scientific, precise, and actionable intervention policies.

In the future, the team will continue to deepen related research, promote the development of standardized data systems, and further assess the impact of adverse childhood experiences on children's human capital development and macroeconomic social development, thereby providing valuable insights and support for global child protection efforts.
